Winter Figure Drawing Classes

Rendering the human form is the most difficult task in drawing; the beginning stages of construction are the most important. This 8-week course will address these early stages and their challenges. Working from the nude model, students will be given a step-by-step system that works to accurately capture gesture, proportion and body type. From this general block-in we will advance toward an exploration of the figure's specific contour and shadow line. Poses will range from three to six hours.

Thursday January 12 - March 1, 6:00-9:00
Sunday January 15 - March 4, 10:00-1:00

Cost $300
