Saturday Life Drawing Classes at ARA Boston

Instructor Emmy De Musis

Rendering the human form is the most difficult task in drawing and the beginning stages of construction are the most important. This 8 week course will address the early stage and it's challenges. Working from the nude model, students will be given a step-by-step system that will improve their ability to accurately capture gesture, proportion and body type. From this general block-in, students will advance towards an exploration of the figure's specific contour and shadow line. Each class will consist of one three hour pose. Students will receive individual attention and work at their own pace. All levels are welcome.

Saturday Jan. 29 - Mar. 19th 10:00-1:00 and 2:00-5:00 p.m.
